How many different ways can you say 'heartwarming'? THE QUILT MAKER is a wonderfully entertaining collection of short stories, each centered on a quilt of a different pattern. The quilts are ingeniously woven into the stories, which vary from hilarious to sad, but which never fail to touch the spirit. I loved this book and 'heartily' recommend it.
